GETTING TO OUR APARTMENTS
All three of our apartments are right in the centre of Edinburgh in the Georgian New Town.
Once checked in almost everything worth seeing in the city is within walking distance! The information below is a general guide intended to assist you in getting to us - depending on how you are arriving in Edinburgh.
Unfortunately, we are not able to store luggage either before arrival or after check out, however, there are two services available that we can recommend to you (see below).

Airport Transfer
All of our apartments are only 7 miles from Edinburgh Airport.
Tram (30 mins)
Every 10 minutes. Airport to Princes Street Stop (for Albyn Place); St Andrew Square (for Abercromby Place) or Picardy Place (for Broughton Place). (Adult fare around: £6 one-way; £8:50 return). <10 mins walk to apartment.

Bus (Number 100 Bus; 30 mins)
Every 10 mins. Airport to Princes Street or Edinburgh Bus station (Adult fare around: £4.50 one way; £7.50 return). <10 mins walk to apartment.
Taxi (25 mins)
Typical fare from airport to City Centre is £25-£30. Uber are cheaper!
Train
The Nearest Railway Station is Edinburgh's main railway station - Waverley Station.
The apartments are less than 1 mile from the Railway Station (Waverley) and about 10-15 mins walk. taxi's area also readily available outside the station.

Parking
Like most cities these days, there is no 24-hour Free Parking in Edinburgh City Centre!
There are two options for parking when visiting:
On Street (metered) parking is available on Wemyss Place (Albyn), Abercromby Place (Abercromby) or on Broughton Place (Broughton) and on nearby streets. On-Street parking is free on some streets on Saturdays and/or Sundays (hours vary) and between the hours of 6:30pm and 8:30am every day. Outside of these hours you have to pay.
For convenience we recommend downloading the RingGo App to ease of making payments.
Long stay (multi-storey) parking is available at Q-Park at the Omni Centre or John Lewis Department Store Parking. It can be cheaper to book online before arrival. The apartments are around 10-20 mins walk away.
Luggage Services
If it is required there are two options for storing your luggage:
Waverley Station Left Luggage - there is a bag storage depot at Waverley Station where bags can be stored by the hour for a modest fee.

Luggage Concierge Service - Guests can book online to have their luggage collected and stored and then dropped off to any location where and when needed. The concierge service can also provide a taxi service to you as well. We have negotiated a 10% reduction in their normal rates if booked using the following link and entering the special code: ESCAPE10.
