"WOW! Beyond gorgeous. This is hands-down the most beautiful, luxurious Airbnb my husband and I have ever stayed in. Never before have we been so impressed by a listing only to find that the place itself is even better in person! What the photos don’t capture are the super high ceilings that made me feel like a queen on our honeymoon. This apartment felt like a home - it is so well designed with the comfiest furniture. I loved reading in the big comfy armchair with a cup of tea; there were some days we didn’t even go out and enjoyed this little palace instead! The location is great as well- we’ve never stayed in this part of town before and I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to get to attractions, but it was just perfect! Less hilly than Old Town so it was even easier to get around in foot, and I LOVED all of the designer shopping close by. Fiona was a super helpful and communicative host as well, warmly meeting us at check in and going over specific things we might need. This is the best Airbnb experience we’ve had yet, and will definitely be our go-to whenever we come to Edinburgh. 11/10, highly recommend!"

"We spent Christmas exploring Edinburgh. Full days walking the city, evenings out and a great flat to return to for rejuvenating to start it all again. The flat has everything you need, clean, well appointed, details and amenities that are found in fine hotels. It felt like home, but the city at our fingertips due to its location. It was very quiet and felt safe both inside and in the surrounding neighborhood. Could easily live here!"

"This apartment was so beautiful, we were so impressed with the historic details, 18 ft hi ceilings, art, decor, comfy bed, luxurious bath and modern & well equipped kitchen. The location in New Town was perfect. We walked to the Castle, Royal Mile and all of the sights. We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb places all over Europe and I have to say, this is one of the best. I felt like we’re staying in a home that should be in Architectural Digest magazine with incredibly comfortable furnishings. If we come to Edinburgh again, we would definitely stay here.

"Fiona's property is absolutely OUTSTANDING in ALL aspects. I am a well seasoned traveler and have stayed in many fine hotels and guesthouses around the world. My experience at No. 2 Albyn place is among some of the best stays I have experienced anywhere. The attention to the fine detail, the 'homeliness,' the location, the security, the cleanliness and the HIGH STANDARD make this an exceptional place to stay. We stayed for three days/ 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer, it was a difficult place to leave!! If you want to stay in the lap of luxury, feel like royalty and be pampered with the finest of furnishings and decor....look no further. I have very high standards and expectations when I travel having worked in the hospitality area for some time and seen it all - both good and bad. I cannot recommend this INCREDIBLE PROPERTY enough and if you are seeking some time out as a solo traveler and wish to TREAT yourself, if you are traveling on a ROMANTIC BREAK and want to feel like you are in the 5 star plus hotel with all the privacy and comforts you would wish for, and if you are someone who appreciate the good life.....this is the place to stay. "Wow! Was not expecting that. From the second the door opens, your mouth will drop open in awe. We have never stayed in a place with such an impact - we usually stay at Four Seasons Hotels, but this time we branched out and so glad we did!! This was beyond our expectations by far - massively impressive on so many levels. The entrance into the building makes you feel like your entering a ' Golden Age' mansion - then when the apartment door opens you will be amazed. Every detail is covered - furniture, soft goods, books, gorgeous drapes, a bathroom to remember for a life time - then you enter the kitchen and say OMG! It's a beautiful, spacious apartment with a lovely kitchen and bathroom especially and it was perfectly comfortable as it got cold outside. I could easily walk around the New Town and get to the Old Town in 10 minutes. Check-in was easy and quick and Fiona responded quickly to any questions I had. 10/10. I would stay again."

Location is great, it is in a nice quiet area opposite a park and only 10 mins walk from city centre and tram to the airport."
